Camp Description:

Camp Kirkwood is located near the small town of Burgaw, North Caroliina. The camp is operated by the greater Wilmington YMCA; the facilities include a nice swimming pool for free-time activity. Accommodations are air conditioned cabins which sleep 12 per cabin (bunk beds); bathroom and shower facilities are located within each cabin.

I-40 Exit 398, right at stop sign onto NC 53 towards Burgaw, 2.1 miles, to stop light, turn right onto US 117 N, 5.5 miles turn left onto Camp Kirkwood Rd, country store on other side on intersection, turn right at the large blue and white gate.

Harvest of Hope is the ecumenical study, worship, and action mission trip program of the Society of St. Andrew. HoH offers opportunities to learn about hunger and a common sense solution (gleaning) to the issue. Together, we will glean fresh fruits and vegetables which will immediately, through the help of local feeding agencies, find their way onto the tables of those in need. A simple, healthy lifestyle will be experienced during the event. We will worship together, exploring what God wants us to do concerning our neighbors who are in need.
