This month, a North Carolina grower is clearing warehouses of 6.3 million pounds of good sweet potatoes. SoSA can send 100-150 truckloads to food banks from New York to Florida to Kansas. Shipping costs are $1,000-$2500 per truck. In this special appeal for funds, 100% will be used to ship potatoes to feed the hungry.
